In 2011, I spent a year volunteering with
City Year, a nonprofit which does some truly fantastic work in struggling schools across the country. I had the good fortune to work at Universal Institute Charter School in South Philly, where I met a whole bunch of incredible people, and a lot of very talented young artists. :)
My team and I planned a whole bunch of events for the kids, and I usually made the posters/invitations/logos/etc. These are some samples of my work from that year.
